How To Tune Your Wahl Vibrator Clipper

In News by Wahl Professional USA11 Comments

Got a loud or noisy clipper that is driving you crazy? Or does your clipper turn on but the blades aren’t moving? Before contacting the Wahl customer service team about a repair, your clipper may simply be out of tune. Follow these three easy steps below (and watch the video) on how to properly adjust the power screw on your vibrator clipper and get your tool running as good as new!

Step 1: Grab a Phillips screwdriver

Step 2: Turn the power screw (on the side of the clipper) clockwise until it makes a loud noise

Step 3: Once it makes a noise, make a half turn counterclockwise (should no longer make the loud noise) for your blades to be at full power and ready to cut through anything

If you are still having issues with your clipper, give our customer service team a call at 1-800-767-9245 and we will take care of you.

My mini Li+Pro mini clippers keep flashing even though I have charged them over night – Should I take them to someone to have a look at or send them off to wahl themselves?
I have tried googling info and not very helpful lol
Thank you for your time in reading this message
    Eagerly awaiting your advice

We suggest giving Wahl a call directly for this issue.

  4. My clipper is too noisy. Haven’t been able to use it since I purchased it from Amazon. I live in Nigeria and my barber says it’s voltage issue. He’s tried all he could but nothing works out. Please, I need help! 🙁

Yes you likely purchased the tool in the wrong voltage. If a low voltage tool is used in high voltages it damages the tool internally.

  6. I bought a new wahl hair clipper and when I test it the blade was not moving. Please advise me what should I do? Thank you in advance..

I would suggest adjusting the power screw on the side of the clipper

  8. I’ve had my clippers for a little over 2 years and they’ve been perfect and a easy fix when ever needed. But last week they started to stop while turned on. Even though that was a first I did my usual and they were fine. But now they are loud when I turn the on (but runs quietly) and warming up like never before. What the video suggest is part of my usual fix but that only kept it from stopping when on. Could they be dying on me?
